This group will hopefully become a comfortable community for what I call post single mothers - those mothers of kids who are growing up, leaving home, and leaving us behind. We've been so busy raising them, we've probably forgotten how to even be ourselves, much less make friends and be social. Anybody is more than welcome to join, of course! And I hope you will. But I especially want to reach out to other single mothers and post-single mothers.

Mothers & More isn't your typical moms group. We welcome stay-at-home moms, moms working full-time for pay, moms working part-time for pay, and moms trying to figure out what they want to do next. All moms are welcome! Every month, we organize a range of activities that reflect what we need in our lives: mom’s nights out, book club, playgroups, weekly mom and child activities, and meetings with interesting speakers and a variety of topic discussions. This group was established for lesbians to socialize & business network.  The meetups are welcoming, sometimes lively, sometimes peaceful, but always respectful & community building.  Adjectives that describe some of us include: career-oriented, film or dining buffs, fun-loving, athletic, spiritual, non-spiritual, travelers, outdoorsy, single, coupled, mothers, grandmothers, advocates & entrepreneurs.  We are grateful for each other and hope to see you soon at a meetup!
