Who is a Single Mother by Choice? A single woman who makes the deliberate choice to start a family in which she will be her child’s (or children's) sole parent. Typically a career woman in her 30’s or 40’s who wants to have a child before it’s too late. Some of us use a doctor to undergo donor insemination (ICI/IUI/IVF), adopt in the US or abroad, or chooses a known donor using the "old fashioned way" or ICI at home. Single motherhood is ideally for the woman who feels she has much to give a ch …

As a single mother of Indian origin I find there are some unique challenges inherent in my new lifestyle. I started this group in the hopes of bringing together like-minded individuals with similar goals, challenges, and issues in order to provide a supportive network to one another, and expand our social circle for ourselves and our children. As we expand our friendships, we can enrich our lives through shared experiences with our children, as well as parents-only events. Look forward to expand …

Hello, I just moved to VA not too long ago from MD, right around the corner, but don't know a lot of folks in VA. I would like to meet other working muslim parents in the area to exchange ideas, have activities with the kids, go to movies, or just do things on weekends or after work. I am 29 and have a 2 year old daughter.

I would like to start a women's bible study group in the Northern VA area for Catholic moms (married moms, single moms, working or stay-at-home moms, etc.). I am 37 years old, a wife and mother (I have a 22-month old son), and I realize I need faith and prayer more than ever. I also would love the fellowship and opportunity to learn from other moms. I work full-time, so would prefer to meet up on the weekend, maybe once/month.
I decided to start this group, to meet new friends with the common interest in Motherhood! The purpose of this group is to be a positive support for each other while sharing great conversation and doing fun activities :)
Julie organized this group to start getting out and meeting active, fun people who want to stay young and adventurous. And look where we are now!! We are an active group (of "Over 40" individuals) that loves being in the great outdoors whether it is hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, rafting, biking, horseback riding, camping, whatever-without being extreme about any one type of activity. We can also just sip a nice glass of vino and watch the sunset. This group is also about exploring venues o …

We will be adding additional information at www.MothersOfHeruTemple
