The purpse of the group is to meet other women who want to be or are single mothers by choice, either biologically or through adoption/fostering. I stepped up as organizer after the previous organizer stepped down. We meet monthly to share information, experiences, frustrations and joys from our individual paths to motherhood.

Redmond moms meet weekly for fun, creative songs and rhymes to sing with their baby to preschool-age kids. Patterned after the Mother Goose Programs in Canada, this is an hour of creative songs for bath time, travel, getting dressed, and all the fun in-between times. Plus get to know other moms (female caregivers welcome)! The women in my neighborhood are largely working moms, thus we were meeting 11-12 Saturday mornings. But if enough people were interested in a weekday, that works for us!
